I've used Zoom Removalists twice now and both times had a great experience. This time around, Moey and his partner got me out of my old place and into my new one within a couple of hours. They were courteous, careful and went above and beyond what they had to do to make sure I had everything in place before they left. Super happy with the service and will think of you again next time!

Jonathan and his team are the best. So positive and energetic all day. It was a long day to move from Sydney to Canberra and the drop of place is a town house with two levels and no lift and they were so good and so careful with everything that we didn't have any issue at all.Highly recommend these guys. They are amazing.

Puneet and Sam did a great job today. They were punctual, rang in advance to say they were on their way and carefully moved all items from a 3 storey house. They worked tirelessly all day from 8.30am - 4.30pm. I would definitely recommend.

Horrible experience. Absolutely non- professional. Above and beyond unethical. The movers actually didn’t show up on the day and time we had reserved. No answer at the office, no answer on the emergency number. Got a return to our repeat messages about 4 hours later to say their movers didn’t show up that morning. No help or solution offered. Had to find a really costly last minute Plan B on our own. Really stressful situation, especially with kids. Avoid at any cost.

Had an amazing experience with Frank and Chris today! I highly commend them for the job they did for us today. They went beyond their way to help us with the move! Even organised disposal of our unwanted furnitures which we have been stressingabout the move. They were fast and very efficient. They are both lovely people too! They truly value their customers and took care in handling all our stuff. Had such a great experience with Zoom Removalists. Frank and Chris were absolutely wonderful, incredibly personable and very accomodating. My pick up address was on the 3rd floor of an old building with a dilapidated lift and they some how managed to negotiate the difficult space without damaging any of my furniture and with out complaint. They were punctual and managed to complete the task in less time than I had anticipated. I also had to run off to work a few times and I felt completely comfortable leaving them in my place alone. I would highly recommend Zoom Remoevelists…. Be sure you ask for Frank and Chris. Great guys and a great service. 5 stars

Good service that was efficient and organised. They called before arrival and confirmed the day before. However, did not wrap the mattress as requested. Got free call out for Tuesday which was good. Slightly expensive but overall a good service and would use again.

I just had removed all my stuffs heavy stuffs (bed, fridge the whole apartment) to new place. Frank and Chris help me a lot. They’re very nice guys and they work hard and good. After I had issues with other removers not showing up and not happy with the parking that was provided. Frank and Chris showed up with extremely short notice. They done the job promptly and took great care of our belongings, they were friendly and are credit to the team at Zoom removals. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again they were both great.

Frank and Chris helped us move today. I’ve used them before to move a treadmill: same great service. They were friendly and professional. They manoeuvred a steep flight of stairs, were careful with all the furniture and didn’t complain once. We’ll definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone. From Frank and Chris to the people who do the bookings in the office, considering we had to move our booking at the last minute, Zoom were great and easy to deal with.

We were alerted the night before our move of an issue with our pickup. Instead of our set time, we were pushed back a few hours due to an unforeseen issue. Obviously this was not ideal because of prior arrangements made with our new building. However, I am STILL rating Zoom Removalists as 5 stars. Why? Because Moey and his guys did such a wonderful job handling and transporting our things. Plus they were just all-around nice guys. I really appreciated the respect with which they treated our belongings. And because of the initial issue, Zoom amended the initial quote. At the end of the day, I really cannot complain about their service and would use them again.

Hi, considering the move was long distance nearly two hours from Sydney and it’s was as hot as hades, the zoom fellas -frank and frank - were wonderful. I got a call 20 minutes before the 2 guys arrived. That is good.The move was smooth, they take care of the very heavy sideboard. I got a complimentary cling wrap to protect the sideboard.It took the 2 guys few minutes to work out the top is separate from bottom. It is a rather ancient sideboard so I do understand.There was a slight misunderstanding about the charge rate, lucky I Had a print out of what was agreed. It was sorted out very quickly.I would use Zoom again

The Men were very sweet and hard working, but communication was a big issue. They forced my husband to come with them (i am assuming to help them out all the way to campbeltown when he had to do stuff in the home to do.) Also i explained we to the lady we had a 3 tables and tall boys and a big lounge and yet they sent a small truck which required an extra load. Though this was easily rectified through one phone call. Their prices for collection and storage is pretty reasonable, especially for the amount of hour they did.

We had a last minute drama with our first removalists, we called zoom and they were able to come out the next day! none of our furniture was damaged and there was very effective communications with drivers and booking team. We paid more than what we initially planned for but we had a positive experience.

This is our second time using Zoom Removalists to move house. Even though it was a terribly hot day in an even hotter apartment, our removalists tirelessly went up and down the stairs at our apartment block and handled both our furniture and possessions with care. Was very impressed by the way nothing was damaged and no boxes were lost!The move was speedy, though compared to the previous time we curiously didn't receive any paperwork, but I have no problems with their quality of service and would definitely use again.

Good communication. More expensive than other quotes and I felt that the drivers took a very long time to get from place to place - especially as I was driving the same trip in my car in about half the time 🤷‍♀️. However, the items were packed carefully, the communication was good. I would probably use Zoom again.

Absolutely amazing service! We received a courtesy phone call on approach. We downsized from a 5 bedroom home in the Sydney's north west to a 2 bedroom apartment in Sydney's inner west. It was a challenging move, with our 3 seater lounge suite too big to put in the lift. Our wonderful team quietly and calmly suggested they would carry it up 3 flights of fire stairs safely into our apartment. Great outcome and amazing service! Highly recommended!

I've moved a number of times with Zoom and they are always amazing.Moey was our mover and he was awesome. They were fast, safe, quick and as always service with a smile. The bookings process is easy and efficient, they price matched an older quote I had and were willing to work with me the whole way through. They will double check the move the day before and will text you when they are about 10 minutes out. If I need to move again, I would 100% choose Zoom. I've recommended them to everyone I know and think they are amazing.

The BEST. I havent had a better moving experience. The booking was easy and smooth. I was quoted a time between 7am - 8am and got a call at 6:59am that they were parked out front. It was pouring for most of the day and they worked tirelessly for more than 6 hours in the heavy rain. Could not be more impressed with the 2 guys that came. They took care of my stuffs and moved them with the utmost care. 100% would recommend and would definitely use them again.

The two gentleman that moved me into my new home yesterday were very careful and deliberate with their actions. None.of our furniture was damaged nor the two places we were in, however, I was rather upset by the fact that I was charged a stair fee of $80 when my partner and I moved 95% of our furniture not only to the bottom floor of our apartment but also to the bottom floor of the building. At our new place we moved almost everything apart from 1 item up the stairs ourselves. The removalists we able to stay on the ground level for almost the whole move and I was still, not only charged the stair fee but charged the maximum stair fee. Not happy with that at all. Pretty much makes not want to either recommend nor use Zoom again.

Unfortunately the move from our 1 bedroom + study to our new apartment (which is only an 8 minute drive away) could not be completed in 11 hours. We purchased the "professional pre-packing" service as well as the move itself. Unfortunately the contractors that arrived had no idea that they were meant to pack, and one of them didn't have adequate professional packing experience. As we needed to vacate by the next day, those contractors packed as best as they could and I helped them; costing me a day of annual leave from my job.Although we were in contact with zoom at 8am, 1:30pm and 7pm, they weren't able to offer any solutions that would mean we could move inside a day.Ultimately after 11 hours, only 70% of the apartment was moved (not including some large items such as a desk and bookcases). Instead of their promise to "Save You Money and Make Moving a Breeze", they gave me a 36% discount (compared to how long it was estimated to take). I lost two days of annual leave and had to hire a van and move the remaining 30% of the apartment myself the next day.I will never use this company again.

I've used Zoom removals a few times now which is a testament that I like them. I haven't given five stars (or even four) because I feel I was overcharged by a half hour for my recent move. the total move took 6 hours and forty minutes and we were charged for seven hours, I understand that charges are per half hour lock of time but when my partner asked that they assemble a bed he was told it would cost a further half hour block of time. Had they worked up until the end of the half hour period I would have been satisfied.

Had a great experience with this company - they were very professional and friendly. They called to confirm the time the day before and on the day, which was accurate. They followed all instructions and even offered to wrap my mattress for extra protection. I appreciated the extra effort that was made to bring my large bulky items up the fire stairs. This costed an extra $60 but I think the prices were fair.

Jonathan and George were a great team. They were punctual, courteous and very helpful. They were good at solving the problems of getting large furniture through small doorways. They were friendly and polite all day, even though it was very hot, 37°. I would recommend them to others. Removalists were prompt with timing and super quick about their work. All items were packed in the back of the truck carefully, and they provided blankets and straps to protect all of the furniture items and delicates. At the new house, we had to travel down 72 steps from the street to our front door, and these guys were RUNNING back up the stairs after they dropped off a load. 2 bedroom house move completed in 2.5 hours.

Appreciated their hard work on a hot summer day.Had some initial communication issues. Zoom resolved these as well as the fee structure that was incorrect in the original quote. Zoom were unable to provide the boxes as advertised due to supplier shutdown period. Would have appreciated being told this prior to 5 days before our move when we called to request them. On the day the guys were great, fast and efficient with no damage or lost property. Home calculator is good to assist with how much we needed to move. Zoom offered an upgrade with an additional driver, which was definitely needed on the day.

They came on time, were very good and timely. Protected our items and overall great experience. A bit disappointed that we had to pay an extra $70 to bubble wrap 2 night stands, and extra charge for fuel. They also charged the next half an hour for 10 minutes over knowing they stayed back to try to fit a cabinet in the wardrobe after I said it wouldn’t fit (and had no jobs after us).

Had a fantastic experience with Yosef and his partner. They did arrive outside the time window I was given, however they called to inform me of this and it did not impact the removal timeframe. Everything was moved with professionalism and great care. The move was difficult with a steep set of stairs and heavy washing machine but they managed it all really well and without complaints. At the drop off location they even loaded items onto a trailer and secured them for my housemates father. Overall a fantastic service and would definitely recommend and use again!

Have used Zoom many years ago and was pleased with their service, so engaged them again. However during this last move, one of the two removalists complained a lot during the job and also got hit with extra charges. Pros: Booking process was seamless before the job. Free boxes can also be collected easily and without relative hassle. Arrived on time. Didn't dawdle - moved relatively swiftly.

Never use this company. We were so ripped off, they were unprofessional, and tried to charge us $940 for a 1 bedroom apartment move. They tried to hustle us, asked how much we were paying for our apartment, took 8 hours, we actually had to hire a care and help them move the things they were so slow, and I am pregnant. They scratched our furniture and broke our plants, left our belongings in the street unattended, people were walking past looking so we had to sit with our stuff. When it came time to pay we had to go and get cash and the manager we were dealing with wasn’t available conveniently. We only had an apartment worth of things, not even a dining table. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

She quoted me based on my items and we booked it in! I got two followup calls from the team keeping me informed leading up to the move date which gave me complete piece of mind. The truck arrived on time and the team were quick, efficient, professional, friendly and clearly experienced. Care was taken with packing the truck using blankets, ropes and space was utilised making all the items fit in the one trip. Absolute value for money without compromising professional service. Second time to use zoom. Rates may appear more expensive than some of the man and a van type options, but both times the teams have been professional, efficient and careful. And the premium is worth the speed and zero damage. Giving four rather than five stars because somehow the time always ticks over by just five minutes into the next chargeable hour.Would recommend Zoom.

Honestly the best movers I’ve ever had. Fabio and John were consistently friendly (and hilarious haha), hard working, energetic and extremely careful with our stuff. As far as house moves go it was a real pleasure. I’ve had terrible movers in the past and this time we had the added pressure of having a young baby with us so getting good movers was such a relief. Even the concierge at the apartment building we were moving out of commented on how great they were and asked for their details in case other residents need movers in future. The booking process was really easy and the 2 guys that came and did our move were excellent (Gabriel and I’m so sorry 🙁 I forgot the other person’s name), they were on time, very polite and really efficient. We had a lot of big, heavy items and a lot of stairs and they had everything done in a very timely manner. Thank you so much for making our moving experience less stressful!!

We called up the Thursday before we were due to move (on Monday) and the Zoom removals team was such a pleasure to deal with. We had a quote almoat immediately and were able to book in the move that day. Moey and his partner were professional, respectful and clearly knew what they were doing. We have a set of very steep stairs at the house we were leaving and they navigated them with apparent ease (even though it probably wasn't easy at all). Enough flexibility in their fleet to suit small or large jobs and very up-front with estimates and logistics. My local removal was done by LOHAN AND LUCAS. Both were friendly, efficient and experient professionals. Lucas show up earlier, before the truck arrives, and helped me to save a good street parking spot for the truck. All my furniture were transported with care and no damage at all.Before booking, I was talking to JEN from customer service. Jen was super supportive, always answering emails quickly and providing clear information. UPDATED RESPONSE:In response to the below comment by Zoom.Seems like your response is to protect your brand of 'trying' to put customers first. Zoom sent a resolution agreement I've signed and sent it back and still awaiting payment. A few weeks later Zoom responds to my google review which is below.My only advice and resolution is have integrity. That is all, I don't want anything or refunds etc. What's done is done, my review is exactly how it happened, you can deny it all you want not my issue. But my review is valid, and it's for the people who want certainty (when moving can be so stressful). They should double check if the booking online is confirmed via phone call as well. All I recieved was a booking confirmation, no follow up the day prior as you mentioned that there was a change of time with the move or by email. In fact on the move day I called 3 times after 7am which you weren't even open yet (other issue - you're sending out drivers early morning and if they have issues they can't contact the customer, until your admin team arrives into the office) I was lucky to have one of your reps call me back just before opening hrs (8am) and told me that the truck wasn't available (probably 3rd party hire too not zoom owned) and I'd get the $50 discount for the inconvenience.I wish you luck. Maybe this was a once off issue, but that's why it's called a review. You take the good and the bad, maybe take it as constructive criticism. As I'm just one of the hundreds that have reviewed you. I'm the one disappointment by your response.ORIGINAL POST:If I can give 5 stars it’s towards Lucas and Douglas for their service moving our furniture. Can’t recommend them enough. But in terms of booking Zoom was horrible. We booked for the first slot booking which is 7-8am. The truck didn’t arrive until 1:30pm, the booking system needs to be sorted, we lost a lot of time moving because it also started raining in the afternoon. They offered us a $50 discount, we honestly should of negotiated for a bigger discount, but moving is already stressful enough. I don’t recommend using Zoom to anyone. But they have good people working there.

I used Zoom for a local move in Sydney. I saw the other great reviews and went ahead with them. The booking process was very simple and I had a friendly move coordinator who patiently answered my questions.I wasn’t able to make use of the free boxes as the the pick up location Smeaton Grange was very far from me. I was informed that the Beverly Hills location is closed (although the web site still lists it). While this was not ideal, it wasn’t a very big deal.On the day, Deep and Max showed up exactly on time and just went about getting stuff done. They were very mindful of requests and paid special attention to them. They were careful, meticulous and fast. Even in the midst of the moving heavy items, they both had a very helpful and cheerful attitude, which was a definite plus.Thanks Deep and Max! For any future moves I will be using Zoom removals again.

We only needed large items to be moved and they handled these nice and efficiently, with disassembling and re-assembling where required. We had kitchen and dining cutlery and crockery packed by Zoom as well as used the removal service. A couple of minor breakages but probably our fault as I didn't mark the items as extra fragile and a cupboard was missed. Otherwise all went well. The removalists were quick and efficient and friendly. However we were unaware we had to pay extra for the piano ($200) and for the dismantling and assembling of the beds ($40 each). All reasonable charges and we were glad these services were provided but were a bit surprised by the extra charges at the end of a very long day. Perhaps these extra costs could be mentioned beforehand when confirming the quote. Overall we found that Zoom were professional and gave us good service and the sort of help we needed at short notice. They took the stress out of moving. Perhaps just a little more clarity about extra costs.

Fadi was very good. The guys were extremely quick and efficient and nothing was damaged. The booking team were also very helpful and responsive. If I have constructive feedback it is that I would like to have known straight away that payment would be via cash or bank transfer, the deposit was credit card so we had assumed that payment also would be. We also had extra charges for wrapping and for tolls which were not included in the quote. The charges were reasonable and justified but it would have helped our ability to budget more accurately to have known more in advance.

We booked Zoom removals for a 50+ km move, from an apartment (up 1 1/2 flights of stairs) to a house. The communication was great, they called to confirm the booking time unprompted, arrived in the time window, worked diligently and managed heavier items like the fridge very well. Zoom did offer us some add ons, which we declined and they did not push for, and the only unexpected charge on the day was a $100 bad access fee. While we were not advised of this when we booked (and gave a description of the place), we were happy to pay as the two men had worked quickly, did not make any other charges, and were so easy to deal with. We would absolutely use Zoom removals again and recommend them to friends and family.

Jonathan and Michael arrived promptly and got us up and moving in a ZOOM. We had many large and incredibly heavy items of furniture which they quickly got to work on.They both took incredible care of all of our most treasured possessions and our big bulky items. They worked well as a team and got our top floor unit emptied and on the way to our new home. Zoom's communication and customer service is great and they were a pleasure to deal with. Zoom were amazing at organising things quickly and communicating with us. My understanding is that COVID is causing significant issues for removal companies and the current environment has thrown in a lot of challenges. On moving day we did have issues with damaged belongings due to less than experienced removalists (the supply of removalists is impacted by COVID restrictions, so can understand) and we had to move some of our belongings ourself due to delays but as soon as Zoom became aware of my concerns, they were very apologetic and expressed it was not up to their usual standard and they took the time to listen to my feedback and assured me they will use it to improve their processes. Even though we experienced some disappointment, some of it is understandable given the challenges of COVID and Zoom were genuinely interested in listening to me and taking on board my feedback.

We used Zoom for our latest relocation based on reviews on Google and the fact that our preferred removalist was not available.Booking was easy and I advised we have a lot of stuff to move and that we have 3 sets of stairs throughout the house. We were recommended a three person team.The team was prompt and got straight into packing the boxes we had ready. I showed the lead guy the big items that were most important to get completed in the move. There were some questions about a table (solid wood 2.4x1.2m) and a heavy mattress which is king size dense and awkward. The team didn’t seem to happy about the heavy items but went about business loading up the truck. My advice is to clarify if heavy items attract additional costs and identify what constitutes a heavy item.I was advised a few items were wrapped for free but going forward wrapped items would cost based on the cost of the wrap. I had no problem with this as it protects the items to an extent. My advice here is to clarify the cost of wrapping per role so there are no surprises at the end of the move.It was a hot day so I had no issue with the breaks that were taken, even though some were excessive. 20 minute break for morning tea I am fine with however then taking another 15 minute break only 45 minutes later I found annoying.The guys did take care and there were no breakages or damage which was pleasing. All in all we are moved in and happy the move is over.

Poor experience since the last time I used them. They wanted $100 extra for a table top because it was heavy. Zoom didn't charge me extra when they moved me last time. Beside the table top is on wheels (there is no need to pick it up) so the weight does not matter.Never using them again.

I recently hired George and Danny from Zoom removals to help with a massive relocation project, and I cannot express enough how incredible their service was. From start to finish, they exceeded all expectations and went above and beyond to ensure a seamless moving experience.First of all, the amount of heavy furniture and items they had to transport was no small feat. Horrible Experience - Beware of bullying and pressure tactics!I felt intimidated and harassed due to the unprofessional behaviour of the Zoom Removalists' crew. I was a lone female at the time, and what should have been a simple move turned into a distressing encounter.Upon arrival, the movers seemed friendly at first. However, the atmosphere soon shifted, and their true colors emerged. They promptly asked for additional money for a ‘long walk’ and what they estimated as additional cubic before even loading the truck. Zoom had already been paid a hefty fixed price. To my shock, they began insisting that the payment was insufficient and demanded additional money on the spot.Feeling cornered and uneasy, I tried to reason with them and show them the receipt for the total payment I had already made. Instead of listening, they resorted to bullying tactics. It was an utterly distressing experience.I contacted my partner, who subsequently reached out to the Zoom office directly. He stated that this behaviour was unacceptable. Afterwards, the men came back and informed me I did not need to make any further payments.The behaviour exhibited by the Zoom Removalists' crew was deplorable. The fact they targeted a lone female speaks volumes about their ethics and principles as a company.I want to caution anyone considering using Zoom Removalists for their moving needs.

Dear all,Please beware about this business. I think they are cheaters.I have moved my 2 bedrooms apartment with lifts access 10 steps away from loading bay to another suburb 26km distance also an apartment with lifts access less than 10 steps away.Two men took a-most a day to do moving and at the end they charged me for $150 our.I didn’t agree with that and then they said they give me discount and total bill is $1365.And please beware they took my $200 deposit and said it will be deducted in total bill but they didn’t do that.Removers driver will ask you to pay extra for wrapping. I think we don’t need to pay for extra because their jobs is don’t damaged our staffs isn’t it?Do you think that’s fair if you moving 2 bedrooms apartment with lifts access with 26km distance will cost you $1566 then got discounts to $1365? 🤔Hope you will find the right removal company and good luck to you all.

Moved from Sydney to Newcastle and can not fault Zoom. The team at the office made everything easy. Roban and Danny were fantastic! They were punctual, polite to myself and my wife and work very hard loading and unloading. We have a lot of artwork and they took great care with our fragile stuff. Zoom cost less than half of some quotes I received and I thought this might reflect in the quality of the service. Should not have worried, Zoom were great and have already recommended them to a friend.

I needed to move a fridge as soon as possible and organised for it to be moved on a certain day and they told me to give them a call to finalise the booking. However, since I was at work, I wasn't able to call them until 2 minutes before they closed and they were still extremely pleasant and even accommodated my last minute request for the fridge to be to be moved the day after! The removal the day after was super quick and easy while also being very accommodating to my requests.Cannot fault the customer service over the phone or in person!

I wasn't aware that a company as this prestige and standard and customer care were so true to their zoom policy. They have risen the standard of any company I have ever used. Interstate Relocation from Sydney to Melbourne.The customer service, from initial contact to unloading the final box, was fantastic. This was an absolute disaster .Spoke to Chantal and Ali both gave me different versions of service and requirements.I did eighteen loads with a shopping trolley myself.They started at 13.15 and and still haven't finished.They have a balcony and one bedroom to go and they haven't been seen for an hour and a half.My mother is 88 with dementia she is confused I asked for her bedroom first to no avail.This is a night mare I will let you all know cost as they have breaks and they haven't been back.For me Zoom removals used to be amazing five years ago .Not now this has been a comedy of errors.

THE WORST REMOVALISTS I'VE HAD.Details: It was a simple move and the removalists weren't careful with our items and on several occasions just went outside and stood around and chatted to their friends on the phone. Quite literally sitting around moving nothing until we went outside on a few occasions to check on where they went.My partner went outside to see where they were at one point, after we hadn't seen them for a long time and they were just sitting inside the truck on our office chairs, swivelling around sitting back, one was doing nothing, the other was just checking out his socials. They were shocked that my partner came to find them and clearly just figured that they'd bludge, if they could.I gave this detailed feedback to the company and never heard back, after they said that they'd be in touch. I told them how bad it was in detail.*We were paying per hour!We got a different moving crew on the other end and it took quarter of the time to move.The other removalists: Access removals were absolutely amazing.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Absolutely incredible experience - Moey and his partner worked so quickly to load the truck, even from a 2nd floor apartment with 30 stairs leading up to it. Friendly and professional, answered all my questions with ease. Based on what had to be loaded (1 bedroom apartment) we expected to need 2 hours for the job. They got it done in just over a hour. The truck was packed with precision and I don't think my things will be damaged during transit or storage.

Deeply disappointed with our experience with Zoom which was marked by a complete lack of professionalism.First and foremost, it was determined that we would be exactly 8 cubic meters over the limit before they had loaded any of our larger items onto the truck. I had completed an inventory list and was advised that the 21 cubic metre would suffice. This raises questions about the accuracy and honesty of their volume estimation process. We therefore had to pay an additional $980 on the day of the move.Throughout the move, I observed numerous instances where only one individual was working while the others stood around idly. This significantly delayed the process. Additionally, only one team member spoke English, making communication extremely difficult.The disrespect shown towards our furniture and home was appalling. Our fridge was bashed against a brick wall - my mum witnessed this happen, and despite photographic evidence they will have that shows its original state, their team claimed it was already damaged.Last week, we spent $12,000 on painting our home, and now there is a significant dent and chip in the wall which occurred when they were bringing the fridge through.Fragile boxes that were clearly labeled were handled with no more care than any others, resulting in damage to my computer . Our TV screen is also damaged. The negligence in handling these items is unacceptable.Finally, we paid for insurance and have been advised that it is likely we won't get any of the damaged items replaced. What is the point in paying for insurance!?We also were advised when we put in our complaint that we would receive a goodwill payment of $400. This was then retracted when we advised we would like to claim on our insurance to replace the damaged items. Not much of a "goodwill" payment then, is it!Terrible experience and I would never recommend.

I deeply regret choosing Zoom Removals for my interstate move from QLD to NSW. We booked their Premium Service for $6,650, trusting their claims as "professionals" who could handle the job with care and expertise. They emphasise their experience and accuracy in assessing volume, which is why we relied on their advice. Despite this, their service was chaotic and unprofessional.On moving day, the 70m³ truck they sent couldn’t fit all our belongings due to weight restrictions—a factor they failed to consider during their "expert" assessment. This meant we paid an additional $5,200 for a second truck. Even then, important items like our dining table, garden equipment, pet items and a valuable rug were left behind and permanently lost after settlement.The movers constantly complained about the workload, loudly argued with each other, and mishandled our items. Several arrived damaged, including a shattered marble table, a crushed Dyson vacuum, and a broken sideboard. We had prepared extensively, even disassembling furniture and staging 70% of the items in the garage, but still, the service was far below expectations.Despite raising these serious issues, Zoom is demanding an extra $1,000 for 10m³ and refuses to address our complaints until it’s paid. This shows a complete lack of accountability.We trusted Zoom as professionals, but their advice and service were far from professional. If you value your belongings and peace of mind, avoid this company at all costs.We have lodged a formal complaint with Fair Trading.

From the booking process to the day of the move, all was quite easy and communication was clear and simple. Rate was fair and comparable. There was a $20 charge to wrap the TV which were only told about on the day, a heads up by the booking team would have been nice, but not really a problem and not the fault of the team on the day. Great experience with Zoom Removals, specifically Nahro and team. They were friendly and hard working, even in the heat, and were happy to make multiple trips when there wasn't enough room for everything in the truck despite their very efficient packing. Everything arrived undamaged including artworks, and when there was a box which didn't have enough padding they told us about it and we took it ourselves in a car, rather than them just throwing it in the truck where it might have broken. One of the guys asked very politely for a few smoke breaks which personally I'm fine with given they're doing all the heavy lifting. Highly recommend.
